The war in Ukraine is a proxy war with Russia. Everyone with a modicum of intelligence knows that.
The war isn’t about the expansion of Russia. Rather it is about the United States that is trying to stem the shrinkage of its global influence. The Ukrainian government and its hapless citizenry are at the tip of the political and military spear being used by Washington to try and turn their decline around.
